With the aid of technology Athens, Thessaloniki, Rhodes and for the very first time this year, Ptolemaida and Chania will shrink geographic distances between them just for one day. So, on October 5th, and via a life link, all five cities will all be able to watch, at the same time, all 15 films of the festival and vote for their “favorite” one.
The parallel events will be followed by parties, held in each city, and variety of other improvised activities, since the idea behind this festival is to hold a memorable celebratory evening of cinematography which will bring together cinematography fans from all across Greece.
Rumor has it, that this year, competition is heating up and will be stiff, since all 15 films, chosen to participate in the festival, are each better than the other. We await in suspense!

The Micro μ Festival is a Greek short films’ competition festival that takes place every autumn in several Greek cities. Its singularity is based on the simultaneous screening of 15 short films and the fact that the public votes for the favorite one in all the cities at the very same day and time. The Micro μ Festival’s “favorite” short film for the current year is announced through life link ups between all the cities that take part in the festival.
