A second aid team will arrive on the island of Kefalonia on Saturday.
In addition, Médecins du Monde will shortly start gathering primary necessity goods, such as
• Canned Food
• Bottled Water
• Personal Care Products
• Medicines (antibiotics and painkillers)
We would like to clarify that, as per Médecins du Monde standard practice, humanitarian aid will not be handed over to any other organization. Instead, the aid will be distributed to families in need, exclusively by the medical teams present on the island.
