One (1) vacancy for the post of Financial and Administrative Support Executive
A. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANIZATION
Médecins du Monde is an independent, international, humanitarian, Non Governmental Organization. It was founded in 1980 in France by French doctor Bernard Couchner, who later served as Minister of Health and Humanitarian Action of France. Nowadays, Médecins du Monde is a substantial and integral part of the global network of Humanitarian Non-Governmental Organizations that are active all over the world. Médecins du Monde-Greece was founded in 1990 and is a genuinely Greek organization which takes its own path based on circumstances particular to Greece, while maintaining financial and administrative independence.
B. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTION
“ADAMANTIADA – Initiative for the Primary Dental Needs of the Children of Athens” is an initiative based on the active cooperation of Non Governmental Organization ” Médecins du Monde” and the Municipality of Athens. Médecins du Monde (MdM) with its 22 year experience and its numerous actions has proven that it works hard to defend the right of every human to free medical care. A suitably equipped mobile dental unit will lead an awareness campaign to 28 elementary schools of Athens, on the topics of oral hygiene and dental care. At the same time, volunteer pediatric dentists, who will man the mobile unit, will examine children of all grades of the elementary schools visited. Along with oral cavity inspections, dental fluoridation will be provided to 7,500 children from the target group, while children of families who cannot afford primary dental care will be referred to dentists and get the necessary treatments.
C. JOB DESCRIPTION
Financial and Administrative Support Executive, on 14 month works contract.
The Financial and Administrative Support Executive will report to the organization’s Board and the project’s Scientific Committee. In detail, the scope of this particular position includes the executive’s contribution to the elaboration of the following Sub-Project 1 deliverables, titled: “Scientific Design, Modelling and Interventions”:
P.1.2: Activation, briefing and coordination of a team of, at least, 50 volunteer dentists
P.1.3: List of schools to be visited – Realization Plan
P.1.4: Diagnostic Intervention and dental fluoridation to 7500 students
P.1.5: Dental treatment intervention to 7000 cases
P.1.6: Orthodontic intervention to 1500 cases
Duties involve: coordination of teams of volunteers, writing informative articles, representing and organizing events, fora, conventions, establishing connections with sponsors and responsible state agencies, activation of volunteers, training & evaluation of volunteers, supervision-certification-control of actions and deliverables as well as preparation of reports.
D. BASIC PREREQUISITES

2. University graduate of financial studies.
3. Minimum of 2 years verified experience working in management and administrative support of co-financed programs / actions
4. Minimum of 2 years proven research activity in relevant areas of Finance and Administration
5. Excellent knowledge of Computers
6. Excellent knowledge of English
7. Knowledge of the Integrated State Aid Information System (ISIS)
E. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
1. Post graduate Diploma
2. Greater than 2 years of verified experience working in management and administrative support of co-financed programs / actions
3. Greater than 2 years of proven research activity in relevant areas of Finance and Administration
4. Experience in project reports submission (technical description proposal, sub-project technical description, half-yearly reports, etc)
5. Experience in preparation of Tender documents for participation in competitions for public works

WORKPLACE LOCATION
The workplace for the project will be the Awarding Authority’s headquarters, as well as anywhere else it is necessary according to the requirements of the project andat the Project Manager’s discretion.The candidate who will be awarded the position must be able to meet, without delay, any needs that may come up throughout the duration of the contract.
A semester evaluation will be conducted to assess achievement of the targets, as these are indicated by the selection criteria. Poor performance will lead to unilateral termination of the contract
PROJECTDURATION AND WAGES
The duration of the project is set for fourteen (14) man-months. Wages, including all taxes and levies, have been set to 14.000,00 €
