Racist Violence Recording Network – Annual Report 2014

Athens, 6 May, 2015 – Today, the Racist Violence Recording Network (RVRN) presented its 2014 annual report, analyzing the quantitative and qualitative findings of racist violence and hate crime recordings by the organizations participating in the Network. The report also includes the RVRN’s positions regarding victims’ access to the police and the justice system. Furthermore, it includes specific recommendations to the State in order to combat hate crimes, as well as to tackle racially motivated police violence.

The Academy of Athens awards Doctors of the World – Greece

The Greek Delegation of the Doctors of the World (MdM) at the 5th Sea Scout Regatta at the Pagasitikos Gulf

The Scouts of Greece (SHP) on the occasion of celebrating the first centenary of the Sea Scouts in Greece, is organizing the 5th Sea Scout Regatta, which will take place during the 26th July and the 3rd August 2014 at the Coast of the Pagassitikos Gulf, in the area of Kala Nera, which is currently under the auspices of the Ministry of Mercantile Marine and of the Aegean. The 5th Sea Scout Regatta will take the form of a coastal Scout camp, whose aim is to provide to participating children a unique educational, cultural and environmental trip.
