Médecins du Monde, in collaboration with Intersos Hellas, completed the Vaccines for All programme, for the information, awareness and vaccination against Covid19, of thousands of people who do not have access to the National Health System.
The collaboration between Médecins du Monde Greece and Intersos Hellas started in January 2022 and is part of the broader effort of Civil Society that started with the launch of the vaccination campaign in 2021 for available vaccines for all.
The organisation will remain vigilant, continuing to work with all partners in the Vaccines for All programme, promoting the value of the Covid19 vaccine particularly for the most vulnerable groups in society, such as migrants and the undocumented homeless.
MdM’s priority is to motivate local authorities and rural cooperatives in the region to allow and encourage the vaccination of the thousands of farm workers who have zero access to health services. To this end, they are geared towards strengthening communication with both migrant communities and local institutional representatives.
