MdM – Doctors of the World Greece, who share deep bonds of solidarity with the Serbian people since the times of war, are organizing and urgent dispatch of humanitarian aid to our neighboring country Serbia, which is hit by disastrous floods. The first 20-ton container includes medical supplies, food and clothing that were collected by the initiative of “Allilengioi”, a Voluntary Action Group of South Pieria, of Serbians who live in the region and of Doctors of the World Greece.
An MdM team that will escort the dispatch of items and their final delivery at the “Stefan Visoki” hospital in the city of Smederevska Palanka will depart on Thursday 22nd May 2014 from the “Alexandros Ftikas” Polyclinic of MdM-Doctors of the World Greece in Katerini, and in Athens, as well as members of the “Allilengioi” team.
