Doctors of the World Greece will be participating in the next Athens Marathon Event (10 November 2019)
Join our team, run with us, support our accomondation facility for vulnerable women at risk!
We have 100 available places for various routes (full Marathon race, 10km race, 5km race), the majority of which is for the most popular, 5km route. Runners registering with Doctors of the World run ‘for us’, wearing the organisation’s T-shirt, if they so wish, thus contributing to our work. This year’s Marathon runners will be running to support our Athens-based ‘Ramona’ accommodation facility for women at risk (homeless and/or abused women).
Step 1: get informed about the package options
*Basic Registration Level:
The Basic Registration Level includes:
- Runner’s participation registration number with integrated electronic timing chip;
- Doctors of the World Runner T-shirt;
- Runner’s transport to the start point of the Marathon Race (in Marathon) (For the Marathon Race and Power Walking routes);
- Services along the route (supporting stations and medical services) as well as at the end of the race (provision of water, sports drinks, juice and medical services);
- Safe Management of Runner’s personal attire for the duration of the race;
- Accident Insurance coverage during the race provided by ERGO;
- Commemorative Medal of Race Completion;
- Οnline Announcement of Results;
- Certificate of Participation showing the runner’s time on completion (after the announcement of Official Results).
**Advanced Registration Level:
The Advanced Level includes the Basic Level package plus
- The Official Race T-shirt.
***Highest Registration Level:
The Highest Registration Level includes all the above plus:
- 50% discount on the admission fee for the Acropolis Museum.
