This team will join the MdM team already operating in Manila, within a program that supports the recyclers of electronic waste.
MdM is one of the very few international medical NGOs that are already present in Philippines and can therefore act effectively within an extremely tight time frame.
MdM – Greece are ready and will support the initiative of MdM International Network in any way and they will participate, if it is deemed necessary, with Greek volunteer doctors.
Unfortunately, the continuous economic crisis in our country, that transforms to a humanitarian crisis day by day, and the thousands of uninsured and poor people that seek assistance from the MdM Open Polyclinics every day, do not allow us, due to lack of resources, to support a purely Greek mission, as we have successfully organized hundreds of times in the past for similar humanitarian disasters.
