The Greek Delegation of the Doctors of the World (MdM) will support this action with a nine-member volunteer group consisting of a general physician, a pathologist, a surgeon, a sports physiotherapist, a nurse and a gynecologist, who after being divided in two camps will operate the tent clinics. Moreover, one day excursions to the island Trikeri with boats are scheduled, which will be escorted by a rescue boat with a member of the group of MdM. The organization’s car will be permanently on the move from the one base to the other in order not only to immediately cover needs, but also in order to transfer staff where necessary.
To this action a total of 1,500 people are expected to participate. That is to say 1,200 scouts (aged between 11 and 14 years old) and 300 Adult Executives from all over Greece and from the Egyptian Greek Diaspora.
