Physicians of the following specialties offered their services to the locals: General Physician, Gynecologist, Paediatrician, Orthopaedist.
In total, 221 persons were examined, 98 of which are immigrants. Overall, 99 women / 44 children and 64 men went for orthopedic and general health check up.
MdM visited Trizinia, in response to calling of attention to the issues and needs of this specific area, by Professor Tolias, President of the Hellenic Canadian Academic Association of Ontario, Canada (HCAAO). Professor Tolias visited MdM offices, in Athens, in order to hand over a financial aid cheque, on behalf of Union’s members and friends. On their visit to Trizinia, MdM have seen for themselves that there is, indeed, a large number of vulnerable populations that live in the area. Therefore, MdM will be visiting Trizinia again, before long.
