Bazaar exhibitors will be Institutions and Organizations that offer their services to children in need.
In an area specially set up for the occasion, each organization will put children’s creations up for sale (handcrafts, decorative items, bakery and confectionery goods, floriculture products and jewelry). This way we aspire to support the organizations by giving them the opportunity to raise funds for their needs, to promote themselves and make their efforts and actions widely known.
The artistic team “Magical Spins”, manned with several entertainers will welcome our young friends with spectacular activities and games aimed not only at entertaining children but also teaching them the significance and value of the Radiomarathon.
The majority of the AVENUE stores will participate in the “Day of Love”: Alexi Andriotti, All about shoes, Buffet by Varsos Catering, Cook Shop, Donatela, Era Bijoux, Gelato, Geox, Iso, Kipling, Hair salon Maik Artistic Team, Mayoral, Oltre Mare, S’ Oliver, Sugarfree, United Colors of Benetton, Venus Victoria as well as the Pharmacy, thus supporting the Radiomarathon either through purchases of any ” Products of Love” or through contributions to the money boxes which will be placed in the shops to this end.
On “Day of Love” people get the chance not only to support organizations that serve needy children but also to meet in person with those who daily strive to improve the conditions under which essential services as well as moral and psychological support are provided to children and to their families.
Radiomarathon is the greatest voluntary initiative of generosity and love by employees of Marfin Egnatia Bank, member of Laiki Bank Group, aimed at supporting children who need us. Its mission in Greece is based on two main axis which are the driving force to its success and its effective operation. Primary objective is to raise funds which will be allocated to organizations, Institutions and the families of children who are in need of our support. To this end, fund raising activities and events are organized while a special Administrative Committee handles the funds allocation responsibly and with complete transparency. However, the Radiomarathon is not just about raising funds. Its ultimate aim is to nourish a culture of acceptance of distinctiveness, to break down prejudices against children with special needs and to promote their social integration.
