Médecins du Monde carried out a preventive medical check-up for the residents of the Municipality of Halki, on 1-2 October 2022, at the Halki Rural Clinic. The medical team of MdM consisting of ENT, Cardiologist, Dentist, Pediatrician and Ophthalmologist who, in addition to medical care, offered prevention and early diagnosis services, information and awareness of health, as well as interconnection with the public health system of the residents of the island.
With the equipped Mobile Medical Unit, Médecins du Monde continues to travel to remote areas of Greece where there is a dramatic increase in demand for basic and primary healthcare services, upholding the human right to unhindered access to healthcare for all.
