Due to its unique geographical location, Greece constitutes one of the main entry points to the European Union for third-country nationals (refugees and migrants). Due to the continuing and constant needs for the provision of primary health care services as well as for social counseling and psychological support on the island of Lesvos, Doctors of the World Greece are implementing the project entitled «Access to a comprehensive package of Psychosocial Support & Primary Health Care services for refugees and migrants stranded on Lesvos Island», from 1/6/2017 until 30/9/2017.

The project aims to contribute to the improvement of the psychosocial condition of the TCNs hosted in the Refugees and Migrants’ Hospitality Center in the Kara Tepe camp? in Lesvos . This will be achieved through the provision of a comprehensive package of PSS & PHC services.
