Intercultural training program for civil servants dealing with third country nationals in hospitals of Athens and Thessaloniki.

The program focused on the intercultural training of healthcare and administrative personnel in public hospitals that face cultural communication barriers when dealing with migrants, within the framework of working towards the elimination of issues that hinder the provision of medical care, the integration of immigrants within the Greek society and finally the amelioration of the working conditions of the staff.

The specific objective of this program was the acquisition of specialized knowledge and the development of essential skills in order to address the particular problems that migrants face.

The program was implemented in collaboration with “Diastasi – Educational & Consulting services” and with the support of the Greek ministry of Internal Affairs.
