Emergency Health Operations for Vulnerable Asylum Seekers on Lesvos, Greece
The project is aiming to cover the sexual and reproductive health and child healthcare needs of the asylum seekers in the new temporary reception center on Mavrovouni, Lesvos where more than 7000 asylum seekers are currently living.
MdM-Gr project’s team consists of a pediatrician, a gynecologist and a midwife that they offer their services along with the rest of the medical, paramedical and MHPSS professionals of MdM-Gr and the rest of the health actors in the site in the context of complementarity approach.
The activities of the Emergency Health Operations for Vulnerable Asylum Seekers on Lesvos is funded by the Lefas Humanitas.
Implementation Period: December 1st – February 28th.
