Health for All
“Health for All” is a project through which MdM – Greece provides medical services of several specializations (pediatrics, gynecology, ophthalmology, etc) to women and children living in remote areas of the mainland and the islands.
Among the services provided to women are gynecological clinical examination, information on how to reduce the risk of developing breast cancer and uterine cancer, Pap test, intravaginal ultrasound, ophthalmic examination, cardiogram, upper and lower abdominal ultrasound and measurements of cholesterol, triglycerides and diabetes.
Regarding the child population, the provided services include pediatric and ophthalmic examinations, cardiogram, upper and lower abdominal ultrasound, measurements of cholesterol, triglycerides and diabetes and finally vaccination coverage.
This project is funded by the Association of Greek Ship-owners within the framework of a broader initiative pursued by the Greek community of ship-owners, including Social Contribution activities that aim to support vulnerable social groups across Greece.
