It was after midnight when we landed to Entebbe and then continued our night road trip to Monde, covering a distance of approximately 100 kilometers. As the dawn was coming, we were unloading medicines and our luggage in the back of the small hospital.

It’s Sunday and people are heading up to St Anthony church. After the mass they’ll visit our health centre if they are of a need. They know that we were coming and they are waiting for us, the mousoungkou doctors, the white doctors.

Despite being at a raining season, the water is limited and the temperatures high…
