MdM would like to thank Stavros Amanatidis who took the initiative of organizing this event with the help of the Union of Professional Craftsmen and Merchants of Vrillisia. Krzysztof Vazeha, one of the greatest football players in the country, also responded to our call with his team “Friends of Vazeha”.
MdM Greece would also like to thank the athletes that took part in the match: Stefanos Kotsolis (PAE PAO), Apostolakis Stratos, Georgatos Grigoris, Pantelis Kafes (PAE AEK), Nikos Lymperopoulos (PAE AEK), Stavros Amanatidis (PAE ILISIAKOS), Arkadios Vazeha, Fotis Papoulis (PAE OFI), Aggelos Bassinas, Kostas Kostandinidis, Hatziforos Fokion, Louka Vyntra (PAE PAO), Aggelos Fosteris (PAE ILISIAKOS), Grigoris Makos (PAE AEK), Dionysis Athanasopoulos (PAE AHARNAIKOS), Grigoris Kokolakis (PAE PAO ROUF) kai Tsonis Nikos, as well as the Greek Nation Under Twenty Team, who carried a message of hope by playing for MdM Greece.
Finally, the support offered by the Greek Football Federation (EPO) was invaluable, as was the support of everyone who attended the game at the Spata Municipal Gym and that of the Municipality of Spata, Hummel and CCC, sponsors of the match.
It is events like these that give us the courage to persevere in our efforts to relieve human pain, while at the same time proves that there are people like those above who are cultured and aware of the great social problems of our time.
