In the scope of “Health for All” program, Mobile Units visit areas in the Greek mainland and its islands offering gynecology, pediatric and ophthalmology diagnostic tests to women and children.

Médecins du Monde’s suitably equipped Mobile Units, which are staffed with thoroughly trained and experienced medical and paramedical professionals, amongst other services, provide: free gynecology check-up; Pap smear; ophthalmic examination, pediatric tests and vaccinations.

The “Health for All” program is carried out with the full funding from the Association of Greek Ship Owners and is part of a broader initiative pursued by the Greek community of Ship Owners, including actions of social offer and solidarity, for the support of vulnerable social groups throughout Greece. The schedule of the visits of Médecins du Monde Medical Mobile Units in the Prefecture of Aetolia-Acarnania has been set as follows:

Monday, December 2nd: Elementary School of Antirio (Pediatric and Ophthalmology Check- ups)

Art Workshops Area, West Pier (Gynecology Check-ups)

Tuesday, December 3rd: Elderly Care Center of Nafpaktia, 3 Ph. Plastira & D. Livaditi street

Wednesday, December 4th: Elderly Care Center of Municipality of Nafpaktia (Gynecology check-ups)

3rd Elementary School of Nafpaktia (Pediatric and Ophthalmology check ups)

Thursday, December 5th: Community Health Center of Agrinio, 20 Palama street

Friday, December 6th: Community Health Center of Agrinio, (Gynecology check-ups)

13th & 14th Kindergarten of Agrinio (Pediatric and Ophthalmology check-ups)

Saturday, December 7th: Old City Hall of Gavalou, Municipal unit of Makryneia
