In the scope of “Health for All” program, Mobile Units visit areas in the Greek mainland and its islands offering gynecology, pediatric and ophthalmology diagnostic tests to women and children.

Médecins du Monde’s suitably equipped Mobile Units, which are staffed by thoroughly trained and experienced medical and paramedical professionals, amongst other services, provide: free gynecology check-up; Pap smear; ophthalmic examination, pediatric tests and vaccinations.

The “Health for All” program is carried out with the full funding from the Association of Greek Ship Owners and is part of a broader initiative pursued by the Greek community of Ship Owners, including actions of social offer and solidarity, for the support of vulnerable social groups throughout Greece.

The schedule of visits of the Médecins du Monde Medical Mobile Units in the Prefecture of Evros has been set as follows:

Thursday, February 6th & Friday, February 7th: Municipality of Alexandroupoli, Elderly Care Center B

Saturday, February 8th: Town of Feres, Elderly Care Center premises

Sunday, February 9th: Municipal Unit of Antheia, Community Center

Monday, February 10th: Municipal Unit of Makri, Community Center
