This seminar will focus on the intercultural and social education of professionals who come into direct and frequent contact with poor and socially excluded people, and as such deal with daily problems that hinder them from providing their services.
The purpose of the program is meant to help doctors, teachers, nurses and administrative personnel, in public hospitals, related institutions and other social services, to build expertise and develop the appropriate skills to improve their working conditions and offer better social services to excluded groups. Participants will benefit from the program because they will learn to provide more effective treatment and efficient service, adapt to problems and find solutions for socially excluded groups; as well as, improving their communication skills so that they may execute their duties with alacrity.
