The prime goal of this collaboration is to provide free Medicare to populations who are faced with diffulties or those who entirely lack access to the National Health System.
Medicare beneficiaries of the care provided are: uninsured individuals, business owners who have not been able to pay contributions to their Social Security Fund and the State, long-term unemployed individuals, poor people with less than 5,000 Euro annual income and low-pensioners.
All Clinics are manned by doctors of all basic specialties (general practitioner, dermatologist, gynecologist, ophthalmologist, pediatrician, lung specialist, endocrinologist, orthopedist, psychiatrist, psychologist, cardiologist, physiotherapist).
The clinics operate Monday through Friday and timetables specific to each specialty have been set out.
OKOE & EKE have donated to MdM medicines that have arrived from Cyprus and were sent by the HOLY ARCHBISHOPRIC OF CYPRUS and the PHARMACISTS OF THE WORLD (Cyprus) to fill the above mentioned needs.
