The play is based on “Ismini” by Yiannis Ritsos and has been directed by Alexis Migas. “We don’t do theater for the vainglory, neither for the money nor for the purpose of offering to spectators two hours of paid illusory bliss. We do theater to keep our mind and soul alert and that’s what we respectfully hope to offer to those who grace us with their presence”, mentioned the director, thus explaining the reason why they have chosen “in times of trouble, to play dramatized poetry over a comedy. Particularly since the performance is an adaptation of Yiannis Ritsos’ still most abstruse works…”, as he has distinctively pointed out.
Performances will be held at 8:30 pm, on Saturday November 10th, at the events hall of Greek French College “De la Salle”, at the municipal unit of Pefka, and at 8:30 pm, on Saturday December 8th at the Municipal Theater of Sykies (Riga Feraiou & Megaron Str) M.U of Sykies, with 5 euro admission fee.
