The heart-rending, intelligent and multi-award winning dark comedy by Joe Orton, which has fascinated millions of spectators around the world is now performed in Athens. Satire of the Roman Catholic Church, social attitudes to death, and the “integrity” of the police force make an “explosive cocktail” of laughter which has received rave reviews and has swept awards in Europe and the States.
A newly formed team of actors under the director guidance of Giorgos Souxes and with a team of several renowned professionals vouch for an evening of lots of laughter, possibly, at the most timely staging of this play.
The play will be staged at Imera Theater, every Monday and Tuesday at 9:15PM starting 25th of March for limited number of performances.
