Invited by the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism (EEA Grants) and the National Contact Point (NCP), MdM attended the Thessaloniki International Fair 2022. The invitation was made in the context of the event “Working together for an inclusive Europe” held on Wednesday 14 September, during which representatives of organizations spoke about their EEA Grants-funded projects concerning people and the improvement of their living conditions.

The operational director of MdM, Anastasios Yfantis, presented detailed information on two projects of MdM concerning the refugee and migrant population, the Open Accommodation Centre “A Step Forward” and the project “Care for displaced persons from Ukraine seeking protection in Greece”.

The event was also attended by the General Secretary for Social Solidarity and Fight against Poverty, the Greek Ombudsman, representatives of the Bulgarian National Council, the European and Development Programmes Management Service of the Ministry of Citizen Protection, the Smile of the Child and the Bodossaki Foundation (Active citizens fund Greece).
