The Commissioner of the Council of Europe for Human Rights, Mr. Nils Muižnieks, accompanied by the President of Médecins du Monde Greece, Mr. Nikitas Kanakis, conducted yesterday a visit to the new shelter “House for All” of MdM Greece in Athens.
During his visit, the Commissioner had the opportunity to tour the facilities of the new hosting structure of the organization and discuss with families of asylum seekers, staying there.
It is noted that, besides the aforementioned shelter, MdM Greece retain another reception center for vulnerable asylum seekers and a relevant dormitory for the homeless which provides accommodation and personal hygiene services to adults living on the street.
